Inside the Innovators Board

The Innovators Board is a dynamic group of around 100 ambitious under-35s at BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions Italy. Formed with a mission to drive innovation, the community focuses on developing creative solutions to enhance customer experience, improve workplace efficiency and contribute to business growth. With training in innovative thinking, members are already generating impactful ideas, such as:

• Proposing small projects or efficiency initiatives to the Italian Executive Committee for evaluation and potential implementation.

• Encouraging job shadowing, mentoring, and reverse mentoring to foster knowledge sharing and career growth.

• Boosting people engagement by sharing project stories featuring both team members and business leaders – to highlight innovation across different functions.

Though still in its early stages, the Innovators Board is already driving meaningful change and shaping the future of our business in Italy!


Giving everyone a voice at the Morning Spot

The Morning Spot is a special corner of our Romania office, a space that is the centre of the team’s engagement with each other. Every week or fortnight, the team gather to build connections in an informal and enjoyable atmosphere.

The gathering has a different focus each week. This can include coffee with the CEO, all-staff meetings, departmental meetings to share important information, project status meetings, and discussions about promoting female leadership. There are also ‘Monday Wins’ that recognise the achievement of business milestones or personal goals.

The big idea behind the Morning Spot is to give everyone a voice, to open discussions and enable a variety of ideas to be expressed. It’s a way of encouraging those who might normally be reluctant to raise their hand.

Violaine’s story – moving across the business

Promot’her, a dedicated community within BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions France, brings together women to support, inspire, and encourage them to aim high in their careers. One of its success stories is Violaine Provence, who made a bold career shift from HR to the Transformation team.

How did she do it? Violaine’s journey began when the HR department in France recognised her interest in transitioning roles and shared it with Corporate HR. “They knew about my passion for numbers and spoke with the COO, who was looking for someone to analyse and interpret data. After an interview and following the internal mobility process, I stepped into my new role as Project Manager for Operational Efficiency!”

What difference did Promot’her make? For Violaine, the community provided invaluable support. “The connections I made and the encouragement I received helped me believe in myself and silence my inner impostor. The programme teaches women how to network and build visibility – both essential for career growth in a large organisation.”

“Promot’her is a fantastic catalyst,” she says. “Without this programme, I don’t think I would have had the confidence in myself and my skills to take this step.”
